The Law Offices of John A. Allen brings over forty years of experience to the insurance subrogation field. There is no area of subrogation that we have not handled for our insurance clients.

John A. Allen, BA., J.D., is a graduate of California State University, where he received his degree in History and Philosophy in 1973. He earned his Juris Doctor at Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles in 1977, the same year he became a member of the California State Bar. Mr. Allen has been specializing in insurance subrogation for 26 years, handling in excess of 1,000 court and jury trials, including every form of insurance subrogation. In addition to the California State Bar, Mr. Allen has been admitted to practice in the United States District Courts, (Central and Eastern Districts), and the Supreme Court of the United States. His professional associations include the Los Angeles County Bar Association (former president, Barristers section), California Trial Lawyers Association, and Judge Pro Tem of the Los Angeles Municipal/Superior Courts.

We have litigated tens of thousands of disputes including auto (property damage, uninsured motorist cases); homeowners and commercial fire, flood and theft casualties; products liability; breach of contract and conversion (double recovery; both by insured and body shops); workers compensation and government liability at the city, county, state and federal levels.

Through decades of experience we have learned how to maximize recovery while minimizing expenses, pursuing worthwhile claims while reducing the diversion of resources caused by aggressive pursuit of non-productive claims. With our eye constantly on the bottom line, our tested procedures will increase your subrogation recovery while reducing the manpower and expense your staff spends on coordinating and supporting legal counsel. Our proprietary software allows us to track case files at every stage, while greatly assisting in the interface, compilation and reconciliation of client claim files.
